The meeting was attended by representatives of the executive authorities, namely, the Ministries of Economy, Foreign Affairs, Regional Development and Construction, Environmental Protection, Culture and Tourism, Internal Affairs; State Border Service, State Tax Administration.
The Committee members were informed about the actions aimed at enhancement of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union within the scope of Euroregions. The said actions are aimed at elaboration of an efficient mechanism of governmental support and coordination of transboundary cooperation.
The attendants of the hearings commented on the lack of a single executive body to coordinate transboundary cooperation.
